Physical: While being tall for his time, Kain is of average height today, being 6”. Pale ivory skin covers a well built, yet slender frame ending in long limbs and slender fingers. Startling green eyes peek from a wavy, dark brown fringe (bangs?). His hair falls to just below his ears in deep chestnut brown – usually managing to look stylishly unkempt.
He has a strong, yet narrow, jaw line with a slender neck that ends in broader than average shoulders. Despite his slenderness, there is no mistaking his utter masculinity – even in the deadly graceful strides he takes.

Kain is almost always in scant clothing. Whether an opened vest, or gauzy shirt with most often than not tight leather pants, Kain is never seen without some sort of skin showing, and mostly to show off what wiry muscles he has. However, this is not done on purpose. He is simply uncomfortable wearing too much clothing.

He has no markings on him, as the only real things to mark his passing are his pale skin and his emerald eyes paired together.

Fangs, an elongation of jaw line and fingernails as well as a red hue filling his eyes are the only markings of his ‘Change’ into full vampirism.

Personality: Kain is quiet and usually keeps to himself. He had been raised since Turning to be as like a piece of antique furniture; something lovely to look at, but hardly worth any more notice than that. Naturally, he so assumes that he is not worth notice and so doesn’t call too much attention to himself. He is slow to anger, having been taught the price of letting his emotions rule his actions by his Master long ago, but when finally risen to it, his rage is a simmering cauldron that bubbles away with the fire beneath it being constantly stoked.
He is an intelligent and intently curious man, however, and forced to live with kind Servants and cruel Masters, has picked up a sense of morals not to far from a normal human’s. He does not like using his vampirism as he feels it calls attention to him, but some habits cannot be helped.

Bio: Kain was born in 1687, a simple country boy living as a stable hand in a small country manor in England. He does not remember much of his early life, as most of his memories are taken up with pain and humiliation he had to endure under his Sire. His Master had taken an interest in the young lad and had turned him, but soon found him useless as a coven member. As a Slave, however, with his almost feminine but strong beauty, Kain shone through. He quickly learned his lot in life – and does not know another life. Of sex, only his experience with his Sire’s desires does he know, though the other did give him a rather full education in the arts of loving men, Kain has nothing to compare this to and so must trust his word.

Kain served faithfully, the only sign of his vampirism to mark him different from other Slaves and Servants the fact that he had to feed daily on blood. Though he was his Sire’s personal sex slave, he was still treated like a dog in the presence and by other vampires above his station – and that meant all of them.

300 years he survived by being smart and appeasing his Master. At times he thought himself insane, but those periods usually lasted only until the next time his Master called him to his bed. He learnt how to avoid attention from the other vampires and how to quickly adapt to new situations.

Two years before his sign in day at the university, his Master’s small coven was ambushed through the day and killed to a man. The man responsible set free the servants including Kain himself before he realised what the vampire was. At last Kain was free!

But going into the world now, so different from the one he remembered before his Turning and what he had seen while being a Slave, Kain found it hard to adjust to life without someone else to guide and nurture him. The man, the Slayer, that had killed his Master called himself Simon and tracked down Kain before too long. After seeing Kain’s struggle, he took the vampire in and enrolled him into the University.

Kain has no idea what to expect here at Northwood, only that Simon had told him that it would help him to discover who he really was. He just had to remember that he didn’t have to take orders anymore.

Position: He’s straight! At least… he thinks he is. After all he only liked what he did with his Master a few times…. Just a few….

It will be interesting when he finally meets Michael York..
