Anyone use Skype?

So, I decided to play around with chat a bit and, rather than create a new email or something, a friend told me about Skype (which I hadn't thought was free, but is apparently). Anyway, I just created an account and am mosying about, so if you have one, too, look me up!

I don't use voice chat programs, as I am quicker and more fluid typing. Never much liked the sound of my own voice heh.

From what I understand, the actual VoIP is extra. The main deal is IMs and speaking to others through a microphone, which I'm not sure how it would work, not having a microphone myself to try it. *shrugs*
