I suppose, though might be easier to have a disclaimer at the membership part about 18+ (in my experience, people under 18 will lie about their age anyhow to rp stuff like this, so having a separate thread isnt going to do much). In a forum dedicated to man-on-man relations, I think its sort of expected that there will be stuff like this. I get your point though, it just depends on what people feel is necessary, or what they want the forum to look like. Im pretty liberal with where stuff can be posted because im used to doing on-on-one rps where it isnt an issue.

Well, how about this as a standard?

We'll use the adult thread to place our man-on-man relations so that we can enjoy the smut without side-tracking the story or getting bogged down waiting.

Once two chars post that they're going into the adult thread, I'll give them 3 days to play before moving the story along (should there not be something else on-going at the same time)

How does that sound? Fair?

I don't really see how anything could hold up the thread. Because this thread has a brevy of characters, Enrir and Daven could just be in his room - this does not impact on other players. Its just a locked room that can't be opened (hence the Adult thread) so rather than stopping an RP, people just RP around it. I mean - in real life, we don't stop doing things just cos our friend's got a tie on the door, right?

Anyway - I think the three day restriction is too limited. I've known great RPers that couldn't get on that often, but were often worth the wait. I myself get pulled away from SOTF life and sometimes find it hard to come on. So having a day(s) restriction would not suit me. That's just my opinion though, as you're the GM it is ultimatly your decision.

Also, as an after note: Perhaps we should ask Wulff if he should change this forum to an 18+ forum. I set up Illusion Vale so that those signing up had to place their birthdates in and would only be accepted if they were 18+. Not because I don't think under 18's are bad players, its just that most of my RP's are mature contented. I'm not talking just sex, there's adult themes and crap like that. And my site isn't sex exclusive either.

That's true, about the time limit. I was just thinking that if we get into a repeat situation like the one we're in now ... where Daven and Enrir are in the mid-late morning and the rest of our chars seem to be waiting for the afternoon ... a time frame would be useful to letting the hanky-panky go on without holding up the rest. I see no problem with posting in both forums at the same time. I like your idea of treating the adult section like a locked door.

Im for changing the forum to an 18+ forum personally.. I met wulff in a 'adult' themed rp rooms before she was that age, it really won't hinder the forum I don't think

Technically, we are an 18+ forum, Clary and I fixed it when we actually started the place up. ^.^ But still, these rooms are useful, just in case we do have little liars lurking around that way they have to do a little looking for the porn. ^.^

Hey guys, sorry for the absence. I had some net problems. Anyway, they should be fixed and I should be getting onto a more stable posting schedule.
